On May 8th Midlands Technical College celebrated 50 years of dental hygiene being offered as a program at the college.  There was an excellent turn out and it was wonderful seeing so many current and past student and instructors all together in one place celebrating.

We had two lucky winners win free registration to SCDHA symposium 2018.  Amy Lyerly won for being the person in the room that had been a member of ADHA for the longest and Caitlyn McDaniel won for switching her ADHA membership from student membership to professional.  Congratulation Ladies!

Tammi Byrd was also recognized during the celebration as being named the 2018 MTC Distinguished Alumna.  She has used her entrepreneurial spirit to open her own company and become an international leader bringing dental services to those in need.  Congratulations Tammi!
